Most athletes will benefit from a detailed training plan providing structure and purpose to their training weeks. At Tri 2 Win, we develop our training plans to align with your goals, accounting for your individual strengths, weaknesses, and personal circumstances. Depending on the program you choose, the development of a specific training plan generally involves:
Review of previous training and current level of fitness
Evaluation of individual strengths and weaknesses
Development of mid and long term goals
Articulation of specific goals (both short and medium term)
Detailed training schedule (weekly)
We us online provider Training Peaks® as a conduit for feedback and uploading of workouts / feedback
Advice on putting the program into practice - into your own life situation (e.g. what to do on which day)
Review of training each week i.e. analysis of heart rate/power output of key sessions
Adjustment of training as necessary (for unforeseen events)
Guidance to develop race plans and strategies as required
Review of race results
Race nutrition and general nutrition advice
Strength specific training program

PRICING
PRICING Coaching programmes are available from $40 per week with a minimum commitment of 12 weeks. A programme set up fee of $100.00 applies. This includes goal setting and analysis of needs.

The athletes we coach range from beginner to advanced long distance competitors. No matter if you are based in Auckland or out of town, coaching feedback is easy in today’s days (email/text/Skype/phone). For those embarking on the Ironman NZ journey, a training camp three weeks out of the event, offer another opportunity to have face to face contact and meet other likeminded individuals.
The only requirement for you to get started is to have the basic equipment necessary to swim, bike, and run.
